We decided the K-1 route, although it may be a tad more expensive, we are now together and only were separated for 9 months.. the whole process took 1 year and 1 month, I have read over the marry and file Cr-1 and wow, people are waiting for like forever it seems. We decided the K-1 for us because we wanted to do everything ligitiment, show the government this was real and we were willing to wait for their ok, instead of marring and forcing them to say ok. Not saying that is what the CR-1 is, but that is just how we felt. We are very glad we did the K-1, because now we are together. Good luck on your journey!
