My fiance came here, from England to the US, stayed for 3 months and left on Feb. 7, 2004 ... (we spend 2-5+ hours online together every day and save all IM logs, so proof of our ongoing relationship was/is easily documented that way, plus packages sent and phone calls)

our NOA1 was dated Dec. 14, 2005, but ... as of Feb. 7th (2 weeks ago), it's technically been over 2 years since we've have 'met in person'....

I've been quietly stressing out over this .. so I finally decided to ask if it's going to be a problem? or are we okay since the met in person time limit expired while our application was in their hands?

thank you for your time.

You fall into the two year requirement so I don't see how they can complain. It might be cutting it close but as long as you gave them enough evidence of the meeting you should be fine!

They would get an NOA1 regardless of whether or not they met in the past two years, this is just a reflection of their case being received. The fact that they sent their case in before the two years was up is what matters (maybe this is what you meant?)
