My Fiancee and her 3 year old daughter will make the trek to Manila and get their exams next week. Realistically what would be the best time for them to show up at St.Luke's? I'd like to advise them on the best time to go to avoid standing in line for hours before the clinic even opens. Please keep in mind her daughter is only 3 and would easily get tired standing in a que and mommy would get tired of carrying her for any long period. I hear around 9 or 10 AM is a good time, but I want to also make sure they can both be seen on their first day. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanec VJers.

I heard the earlier the better. We're in Ermita now and plan to go there pretty early tomorrow morning. They have been closed the last 3 days due to holidays and being that this is their first day this week. I think it's going to be a little nuts. Businesses in te area expects lines to form around 2 am. I think thats nuts. But id rather be there 4 hours early and be out of there by 10 than get there around 6am and be stuck there till 5pm.

Anyway, I'll let you know tomorrow if we exagerated or not. Lol

Earlier is not quite necessarily better, some ladies have walked into St. Luke's early after noon and been out in a matter of a couple of hours - with no line.

Which makes sense - considering the normal psyche is to be early so as to be ahead of as many people as possible. Mid-week is better than a Monday or Friday, for sure.

If you go after 9 AM or 10 AM there won't be much of a line, if any at all. If you go in at that time, rarely are people turned away because of St Lukes being too busy. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are best.

make an online appointment so they will queue in a separate window, less people. I arrived there at noon, after the guard checked my papers he just guide me to the window for online applicants and no queue at all. while most are in the other windows standing and falling inline and being interviewed for the details of their information. After passing their documents and a little interview they can sit and wait for their names to be called. I hope the process is still the same. Good luck!

It's probably going to be very busy early on for the next few days or so - to shake out the back up due to Holy week.

We were in line around 3am and she still got number 16. They won't let me in there. She just texted to say they started calling numbers 1-10 already.

For those that are going to be in this area, be very careful! I didn't think it was a bad area till we found out someone got stabbed right at the corner where the clinic is, 45 minutes before we got there.

Thanks all for your feedback.

We'll surely register online to expedite things when they get to St. Luke's. I'm leaning towards between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM for them to show up at SLEC. I'll advise them on what time to show up, but it really depends on them since I will not be there until the following week. She wants to go at 4:30 AM but I positive there will be a long que already at that hour. Since I have two individuals to consider, I'm going to advise them to do it on Monday the 16th (Yes, I know Mondays are busy days), but no later than Tuesday the 17th.

Everyone says monday is bad. We got in line an hour before opening and it wasnt bad. Anne went right in at opening. About an hour after opening the lines got longer and many waiting to enter. I paid a man for a chair to sit and wait. There is coffee and stores acrosst street and restuarant. It seemed to get more longer waits and hectic as morning went by. My hotel was a block away so I went back. She got to leave for about an hour and a half so we had lunch I believe at Shakeys. Just from what I seen, Get good rest day before and get there an hour before opening and the rest will go smooth.
