Even though we haven't got our NOA2..because im leaving on april 18th I was going to take these forms already filled out in English so that my fiance can have them as an example. I have a few questions about these forms....if anyone who is bring a fiance on a K1 and a step child on a K2 can help me with these.

1. Form DS-230 says that we need to list all educational institutions... do they really mean ALL? Even elementary school? Do we have to be exact with the addresses? Or can we just write down the city?

2. I see that I have to fill one of each out for my fiance's child, where can she possibly sign if she will only be 2 at the time of the interview? Idk if that's a dumb question but there will be alot of N/A, NONE, or NEVER in her forms and I'm scared it will be a problem.

3. Does she have to go to the interview with us? I ask because she is really playful and I'm 100% she would not stay still not even for 15 minutes LOL

4. What kind of documents do we need to show that states her mom has given us permission to bring her to the US ? And if so, where does he get it?

thanks again for your help my VJ friends :D

Bueno I had some NONE N/A like you say I don't see a problem .. I listed every school but just cities not actual address. And You can fill them out yourself or when you are in DR and have him sign with no date. I filled them out for my husband. As for the child I don't know since I did the i-130 for both my husband and step son, so am I double on paperwork and on fees :crying: and the child will also be at the interview.

BTW there is a letter that the mother can get saying she gives the child permission to travel but the child will also need a passport.

Are you sure you need to fill this out? I thought K-1 petitioners didn't need to fill out this form? Nevermind I lied, just looked at MrTee's FAQ and you do. What I did for this form is I just filled out months and years and gave a rough estimate. Don't stress over it. And I just wrote down the city. No issues.
