How long does it take to get the CFO sticker - Cebu or Manila?

We are trying to plan how long we should be in Manila before we leave or if we could get the sticker in Cebu. Ramona did her seminar in Manila, so would it be ok to get the sticker in Cebu while we are there for a couple of days? Or if it's just a matter of walking in and getting a sticker, we could do it a couple days before we leave in Manila, even though I don't like to wait until the last minute - seems like something always comes up. Thanks!

2011-03-23: I-130 Sent

2011-03-29: I-130 NOA1

2011-07-09: I-130 RFE

2011-08-16: RFE Reply Sent

2011-08-18: RFE Reply Received at USCIS

2011-09-19: NOA2 approved

2011-10-12: Received NVC

2011-10-20: Paid $88 fee

2011-11-29 NVC submitted

2011-12-08 NVC approved

2011-12-12 Received interview date - need to change

2012-02-01 New Interview Date - need to change again - sputum required

2012-01-11 Medical - 3 day sputum required

2012-01-18 Begin 3 day sputum test

2012-01-23 Results of Sputum negative now wait for 2 month culture

2012-03-21 ***culture results*** NEGATIVE!!!

2012-03-27 Interview!!!

***APPROVED***

2012-03-30 IR-1 delivered, still waiting for IR-2

2012-04-04 IR-2 Delivered!!!

2012-06-08 POE LA

2012-06-20 SS card arrives

2012-06-26 Green Cards arrive

2012-07-03 Health Dept calls for follow-up TB testing?

** Ramona went through more testing including xrays. The doctor said he couldn't find any evidence of Tb and cleared her for everything.

In your case - with the visa in hand, you get the sticker the same day. If there is no visa at the time of the counseling session - you get the certificate which allows you to get the sticker upon presenting a valid visa together with the certificate.

Just make sure you have the supporting documents that they could request at the CFO seminar and you should get it the same day. I believe for a CR-1 it's just a few hour class. Link to Spousal CFO Page

Sorry, should have read your post closer.......:blush: I'm not sure on this but a phone call might be in order to save confusion. It could go either way, they want it where the class was finished or they may not care as long as you have the cert and visa. I don't have a good answer on this but you're getting close!!

Just swing by PRISM show them the certificate that CFO has been completed, pay fee (has to be another fee :whistle: ), and they will affix the sticker.

As far as i remember she cant get her sticker in CEBU since she had her interview in MANILA, I asked about that the day that i had my seminar, if i can get my sticker in CEBU because we are planning to my fiance we fly from CEBU to HONHKONG, HONGKONG to US. GOOD LUCK :-)
