Perfect time to take the medical exam?

when is the perfect time to take the medical exam? also can i pay visa app. in advance? or do i have to wait for my case to be completed @ NVC? some advise please... thanks in advance! :)

June 2010: Met online via dating site

Oct.25,2010: He came here to meet me and my family and proposed in a lunch organized by my sister and me of course!

Nov.6, 2010: He went back to US

April 26, 2011: Came back for our wedding

May 17, 2011: The big day!!! We finally exchanged "I DO's"

Aug. 8, 2011: Sent complete Package of I-130

Aug. 26,2011: NOA1 (it was a very stressful long wait!)

March 1, 2012: NOA2 the moment we've been waiting finally here!!!

March 20, 2012: I called NVC got our MNL case# and IIN and sent my DS3032 via email

March 22, 2012: Received 2 Emails from NVC PAOSF I-130 and ACL

March 24, 2012: AOS paid online

March 27, 2012: AOS PAYMENT ACCEPTED

april 04, 2012: AOS PACKAGE ON ITS WAY TO NVC

April 04, 2012: IV bill paid

You will need to wait for NVC to assign a case number (MNL#). Once you have received the MNL#, you now pay the Visa Application fee and take the Medical.

Base on your timeline you are IR-1/CR_1 not a K-1. You need to wait for the NVC to send your case to Manila COnsulate they will schedule your interview and you can go from there for your medical exam date. And I don't think you need to pay for the visa cause all that AOS and IV bill thats what it is.

I agree with wally greene, u should call the NVC to update ur case and ask for ur MN#

I am not expert on this but Im sure there are more people that more knowledgeable about CR-1 but I know a friend that went through like you guys and help her. I might be wrong. Good LUck though! :)

NVC will assigned/schedule your interview date :) IV -means immigrant visa.
