OK well I'm really starting to get impatient here. Interview was Jan 12Th left with letter saying recommended for approval. IO said give them about 60 days and how they try to get it done asap, but they need to check where I will be doing the Oath at, in Memphis or in Arkansas. Well I'm still waiting. Did a e-request and got a fast reply saying I was approved and will be sent a letter 2 weeks before my oath. Now I'm trying to keep from going crazy, should I continue to wait, do info pass or talk to the senator/congressman or who ever I should talk too? Anyways any words of encouragement to keep waiting or other ideas are welcomed.

Can you make an info pass appointment and find out what is going?

I am thinking that is what I'm going to have to do. I was trying to avoid driving 2 1/2 hours with a 9 month old who hates being in the car screaming both ways and having my husband take a day off work. It's one of the reasons why I waiting so long I was hoping to have the Oath ceremony here in Arkansas vs Memphis.

Before driving out there, you can also try to call their 1-800 number and insist to speak to a 2nd tier officer. They should have some detailed info about your case.

I can't for the life of me get a real person, I tried just about every dang button and just keep hearing the recording say I'm sorry you pushed an invalid option and then it just repeats everything. :bonk:

i would start the senator route and get the senator's aide to query on your behalf. Usually each senator has constituent services and i would recommend your citizen husband to start the conversation on your behalf.

You would get the same information vs. the headache of driving up and down for the infopass. I honestly found infopass 50% times useless and clueless.

best wishes.

Thank you, we were trying to figure out if we should go the senator route first or not.

Do not press anything. Just remain on the line and the system would think you are calling from a rotary phone. It may take a few minutes but someone would then pick up. Good luck with everything.

Thanks I finally got through and was told they have 90days from the interview, I found that very strange since online it says 45 days.

By law they have to finish it in 120 days. If they don't finish it by that time then you can appeal to court.
