I have been waiting two weeks and one day now and there is no receipt notice. The USCIS customer service reps are saying its too soon but many have gotten theirs in less than one week. I am starting to worry that it got lost or something. I was able to track my money order and it hasn't been cashed either. Is there anything that I can do?

Have you sent it to the correct address? (the one in the USCIS instructions). Do you have a tracking number of your package?

(BTW, are you really planning on getting married in June?? The K-1 process takes 6-8 months in most cases...)

Yes, I mailed it to the Dallas Lockbox. I used the address on the form and even if it was sent to the wrong place, I would have it back by now. I was be extremely optimistic when I said a June wedding. Looks like that's when I will get a receipt number.

:crying:

anything weve sent in seems to take forever to get receipt #'s even when we send it ahead of others in our same process, I think on average it has taken almost 4 weeks to get any response. and a word of advice on the wedding look at options and be ready to plan it quick because this process is full of twists and turns you COULD be done with it in 6 mths but you would have to be one of the very lucky few most it takes about 9 mths to get their fiance here. june is a long shot. But its totally worth it so stay patient but diligent and he will be here sooner than you can imagine!

Thanks, it wouldn't be so hard if I didn't miss him so much and it's really expensive to keep going there.

I hope everything works out for you. The best way to be sure is to track your package through USPS and see if it got there. If you go to their website you can enter the tracking number. It it got there then do not worry because it does take some time for them to send you a confirmation receipt. Pray to God as he is the only one that knows when you will be with your loved one again.

Thanks for those kind words. I decided to stop driving myself nuts about it. Whatever will be will be.
