Anyone else have this message:

I'm sorry the first three letters of your receipt number have not been recognized, please try again without using dashes.

Ok so my receipt number starts with NBC* so surely it should be recognized after all it is the benefits centre. I've checked online and on the phone, am I putting it in wrong?

It's not uncommon NOA-numbers not being recognized for first couple of weeks to a month. Usually problem is fixed after biometrics have been processed.

Yes, this is correct. Some times it might take few days for the application to appear on their website. Give few days and try again later.

Yeah its been 5 days, but I'll wait.

Since you are a military spouse, I am wondering if that's why. Maybe the information is not yet processed within the online system State-side. Maybe for now you can call the USCIS military hotline and see if they can let you know if your status has changed.
