Why did I get a PM to reduce the size of the image in my signature? According to the published guidelines, I can have up to 10 images in my signature, of any size.

Kathyrn mentioned she was lowering the size allowed in this thread below:

I was having trouble with the code to resize...so I just deleted mine. I probably should have just asked.

There are two easy ways to resize:

1) Use an image sharing service. Most will let you resize.

2) Use Paint to resize the image.

ETA: There is actually a third: Google will let you search for other sizes of the same image.

I was hoping there was a code that dynamically resized since I was hotlinking. I could host it myself I suppose and just use photoshop.

You can resize using BBCode: http://www.bbcode.org/examples/?id=10

Including an image

lubeck_small.jpg

Resizing the image

100x50http://www.bbcode.org/images/lubeck_small.jpg[/img]

Making the image clickable (in this case linking to the original image)

lubeck_small.jpg

Resizing and adding meta information for the image

width=100" height="50" alt="Lubeck cityhttp://www.bbcode.org/images/lubeck_small.jpg[/img]

Worth checking out, but not supported here, evidently.
