Additional Process at NVC

Okay, so we received our NOA2 dated February 28th. NVC gave me a case number on March16th. I keep calling and they are telling me this case is going thru additional processing and unfortunately there is no time limit as to when it may be sent to the embassy. Anyone know what " additional processing" means?

Unfortunately there is no definit meaning of AP at NVC. It could be anything. I was also stuck in AP at NVC for 3 weeks. some say its random and that NVC just pulls random cases for extra checking. Not sure of reall reason and wat it means at NVC stage. Hope u get out of AP soon. Good luck.

Thank you, I hope its not longer than three weeks for us. Its amazing how they take their time and give you as little information as possible.

Just keep calling the NVC every few days until you are told that your case has been sent on. We were stuck at the NVC 50 days. Everytime I called they told me they would inform me when my case had been sent on but they never did. Just keep calling and good luck.
