i did my medicals at Akai house and its so far costing me over 400GHC. i have had a bunch of those vaccines when i was a college student, but they totally ignored all of them and gave me everything allover again. i actually have to go back for second dose of vaccines again - i am required to bring 33GHC. sigh

same thing for us- since the records were not kept great- you can have a test done to see if they have had the vaccine- costs more then having it redone.

Just for you to know when you do AOS tetenal what is usually given in Ghana is the same as Td or tetanus so don't let the civil surgeon screw you out of more money here- I made him get out his book to prove it to him...

i have my vaccination card in great condition!! it shows clearly the vaccine and when i had them. i just think the hospital is just trying to make as much money as possible from me. i didnt want to argue with them so i let it go.

you know, you are probably right but i had do my medicals when i was going to college in the US...so the embassy had to approve it and they did, but now the hospital doesn't want to accept what the embassy once accepted before allowing me to go to my college. anyway i just dont want any problems..so i just went ahead and did it.

it just makes me wonder..
