Letter to Congress

I applied for a fiancée visa last year on October 24th. I-129F NOA1 date is 10-31-2011. Next week, 29th of March, will be 5 months waiting for approval of this application. Seeing applications approved which were submitted after yours is very frustrating. If nothing is received, I intend to call USCIS, then contact my Congressman. Please post a sample letter to congress to ask for intervention.

Who knows, you might get lucky and get it on the 29th. If not, I made a phone call to my congressman's office. His aide sent me a release form to fill out via email. She was quick. It took her a week to get a response. Good luck. Maybe yours will bee faster

Please post a sample letter to congress to ask for intervention.

I have not seen a sample letter and note that it is not to "Congress" but to your LOCAL member of Congress. That being said, you should go to the website address of your local representative in the House of Representatives or the Senate. Some will have forms that you can email their office on specific topics. I've seen a form from a representative where you check a box on what you need help with. K1 was listed in addition to other visas, recommendations to military academies, etc. This is a common process for them.
