Waiting time is driving me crazy

Yes I called them a few times and their response is that I am still under normal processing time.

When did you call? Usually something happens soon after you call. I'm sure you will be scheduled for interview soon.

I guess the toughest wait is the last leg. When they say they will schedule you for an oath ceremony 45 days after receiving the recommended approval, is that 45 business days or 45 normal days?

Marceonce on March 28 they sent me interview letter, but i did not receive yet.

I was place in line for interview march 6! What day is today? April first and still nothing! I check the processing time for NYC and they are in August 14 2011!

Im so happy for you Angie42. My local office is behind but on the USCIS website it shows processing of 5 months. Basically, my local office is reporting the wrong data to USCIS.

I've read in these forums that the website isn't always up to date. I would think better to go by information you receive from local office. Might be more reliable.

I spoke to USCIS and they said my case will never appear online, they will never give me info on the phone about my application, so I am going to be forever wondering if I am missing something in the mail or if I am going to miss my appointment for interview. The wait for an interview letter is driving me absolutely nuts, agh
