You like red horse beers? yck! I tried it and really I didn't like the taste. I prefer the san miguel regular. I think both Red Horse and San Miguel are made by the same company?

Yes. Basically 95% of beer consumption in the phils are products of san miguel.brewery

the san miguel over there tastes better? i thought the san miguel i got here in chicago was pretty good. i didn't know they made good beer in the philippines, so I was pleasantly surprised.

what's red horse? is that the malt liquor version? i have heard people speak ominously about that.

by the way, my fiancee, though residing in dubai, is from the phils. i will be meeting her in may in manila before we go to her home. so i will get a chance to try the red horse and whatever else anyone recommends.

For sure it is not the same stuff or ingredients.

The San Mig I find in Texas taste poor quality compared to the San Mig in Pi

Plus on a side note I have never seen RedHorse for sale in USA

^^ I suspect it could have been made in other plants outside the Philippines, though they just put the label "Product of the Philippines". Happens a lot. I think there are plants in Vietnam and Indonesia.
