When sending off the I-129F package, when it comes to the primary evidence such as boarding passes, hotel receipts etc, am I supposed to send the originals?

If so, do these then make their way to me before, or at, the interview at the embassy?

Is there a search function on this forum? I'm sure i'm asking a question that has come up numerous times, but I couldn't find a way to properly search old threads!
