Oopsie. Four weeks seems too long. Don't lose hope, just keep calling them twice a day until you get your case number.

Calling them too frequently doesn't generate the case number faster. Once a day calling is more than enough.

Calling them or not calling them doesn't generate the case number faster. But if you sit there warming your chair, you aren't gonna get the case number anyway! And I don't believe once a day is enough. The morning my husband called for our case number, he was told it'll take 20 days. Lo and behold, we had the case number the same evening. See, it does help!

And since you mention that calling frequently doesn't generate a case number, why don't we just call once a week? You'll get the case number eventually!

Divya, my sole intention for this that better to avoid to make the phone lines too busy, as there are alot of other callers who are waiting to get the update for their case. If one is expected to get case number, and if they call twice a day, it won't even make a single day different for their NVC process ( when you submit AOS/IV ), in fact, same result can be gained when you call once a day. Of course, calling once a week can delay the process ( around 0-4 days ). That is it.

I just had consideration for other callers, as I dont wish to keep the phone lines busy ( by calling twice a day ).

Take care!

I'm really sorry if I came on too strong. Guess I was in a bad mood already.
