Have an issue with several things but here it goes either way. Recently married a Filipino girl this past march 11th. Have a sponsor in place to help as I do not have sufficient income at this time. I have not paid into the tax system in several years but am finding a good paying job soon as i have been approved by several to sign on as a driver for them..................so here is my question in general

I noticed when filing the I-864 that i am also to file this paper as a sponsor, it says that you may have to show and electronic paper from the IRS that verifies your last year activity when paying your taxes (I plan to file a paper with them this year). I have no idea how to go about filing for this paper but also with my issue of not paying in the last few years what will that do or show to the immigration people at the end? Also by the time I need to file these types of papers I was hoping to have about 6 months worth of work under my belt to show a high income (the company I plan to work for pays about 1k dollars a week). So even though I have no assets or property value at this time, what chances do I have of getting my wife here on this hang up?

I'm just thinking that this may be a big and major mess I stuck my head into by thinking I could bring my wife here and I don't think she'll think its to funny that I can't get her here................dumb and dumber at your chopping block to anyone who can help calm my nerves............"T"

Have you, or how long ago did you mail in the I-130?

You have to write a statement of why you did not file tax returns. No job means no taxes, which means the IRS isn't going to have a record of tax returns you never filed.

If you find a job between then and now it will count for your current income, make sure to save pay check stubs as proof.

It varies from country to country if co-sponsors are allowed and how much weight they bare on an application.

I did not apply for anything as of yet, so I'm wide open. I did not start my job yet but the one that I am working on getting pays very good money (1k a week) but I have also applied to the fracking jobs here at 1300 to 1600 a week, so my income level could great rise up from nowhere. The business that I owned prior and did not pay taxes on I will also be filing bankruptcy on as it's just in the trash and there's nothing left to it. So you may be right, not job, means no taxes, no business means no taxes, but at the same time regardless of income etc. you must file and that is where i thought the hangup might happen here. I'm already in the idea that this process will take a long time, seems like approval ratings for this visa is about 8 months, I've allowed for 14 to 16 months (as per what i've told my wife) and that alone allows me enough time to work to prop up my numbers (Hopefully :)
