holy cow you all. we feel like the proverbial bette davis proverb urging us to buckle our seatbelts because it's going to be a "BUMPY NIGHT." allrighty then. here's my goofy question. the 156k form has a stern advisory above the "do not write below this line" area. and boy....IT DARN WELL WANTS YOU TO fork over and ATTACH to it.....ohhh let's see now.

1.your birth cert.

2. marriage cert.

3. Evidence of engagement to your fiance'(e)

4. Evidence of financial support (i'm assuming the 134 and huge pile of supporting docs)

5. divorce decree 6. death cert.of spouse 7. birth cert. of children ANNNNNDDDD...

8. police certs.

WHAT the LIVIN'...?? we had the DISTINCT impression these are things to bring to the interview NOT to send with the docs. and the ltr 2001. what's that req doing on the 156k thingy?

we have a lawyer...so, i'm emailing filled in pages of anything my fiancee'

(in the uk) must sign. he of course will print them out, sign the darn things and mail them back, so the atty. can include them in the packet heading to the us. consulate. eye yi yi.

i in turn ....am sending him things he needs to bring to the interview.

ARE WE ALL HAVING FUN YET? OR ARE WE SUFFERING FROM STOCKHOLM SYNDROME?

so sorry. cap lock screaming. okay....just two more questions...if anyone knows.

1 -does the london cons. takes american credit cards as payment for the visa delivery?

2- can my guy make his medical appt. as soon as he's got the case number in his greedy little hands? got it the other day from the operator at the NVC....but of course the whole shebang hasn't reached london yet.

3. think it's safe to send docs. and ltr 2001 when we're sure we're in the system in london....but haven't received the infamous "packet #3" yet?

all done bothering y'all. well...for now that is. god this place is GREAT!!! xoxo

p.s. i've been reading with great interest...about the official requested and suggested big HUGE GOB of info to bring to the interview. and the (i'm sure) REAL skinny on what they actually look at. i'm gatheriing... NOT MUCH sparky.

but ya knowwwwww......we're all too nervous to leave any piddling little thing behind, because i think most folks may be feeling...."OK. UMMM ...OK. BUT THEY'RE GONNA ASK ME. I'M TELLIN' YA. THEY'RE GONNA WANT TO SEE THAT DUMB UPDATED INTENT TO MARRY THANG. OH YES THEY ARE. THEY WON'T ASK ANYONE ELSE. JUST ME. I SWEAR. YUP. AND IF I DON'T HAVE IT, THEY'RE GONNA LAUGH IN A SINISTER WAY, AND BOOT ME OUT LIKE YESTERDAY'S PAPER." sorry. more cap lock.

When posting back packet 3, you only need the forms. No documents like police certs, birth cert, I134 etc. Those are for the interview.

Im not sure about the credit card but they take all major cards so as long as its mastercard, visa im sure it'll be fine.

Yes your man can go ahead and get his medical when you have your case number. He should be able to get one within a week roughly. Make sure he knows what jabs hes had. He can get them at the medical if required but at an inflated price! He'll need to take a passport photo, his police certificate and his passport with him.

id hold up sending packet 3 back until you receive the letter. I could be wrong though. make sure you have everything ready to send to avoid any delay.

:)

Just wondering what you are on and can I have some?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
