confused almost 2 weeks has past sine got noa1 and still on uscis site says no record i called one person said give it a month seems weird since have to use computer system for letter seem should be same as uscis system? is this the morn? also the uscis man did say was acepted and was able see in his screen

it will not let me sign up for notices untill my eac number is found on site ;(

it is a common problem... it might work for you in a couple of week or it may never work for you. on the plus side... it is one less thing to obsess over checking if it never works lol

You got an NOA1 so it WAS accepted. Accepted does NOT mean approved nor does it mean "no RFE" It means you enclosed a check for the proper amount and signed the forms. That's all. If you did not do that, it would be "rejected", you would get the whole thing back and have to correct the issue and mail it back to them.

The online tracking system is very unreliable and is not official in any way. Sort of like reading the Farmers Almanac to see what the weather will be like on June 24th.

Alla is now a citizen and our I-129f still says "initial review"

Your file is now in a box. Everything you sent was disassmebled and placed in one of their file folders and now looks exactly identical to every other petition in that building. It will stay in the box until an adjudicator takes it out and adjudicates it, 20 minutes or so after it is first taken out of the box. It is not a multi-step process. "Touches" mean the box was moved for the most part and the "update" is usually an internal listing of where the box is now located. Until then, 4-6 months, it sits in a a box.
