I am preparing papers to leave on March 23 for interview on March 29. I have 2008, 2009, 2010 tax returns and 2011 w-2. I have not filed yet for 2011 because for first time I owe taxes. I have letter of employment. Since filing is not due till April 15 will I be okay without 2011 tax returns? All other support and relationship proof is not an issue. I am just trying to conserve cash until Anne comes home with me.

This year filing is actually due April 17th. When will you file? The W2 for 2011 won't do much if you haven't filed for 2011 (I would bring pay stubs instead, but that's just my opinion).

I understand trying to conserve cash, but try not to owe the IRS because they charge interest and penalties on taxes (this assumes you don't pay it all after filing 2011 by the 17th).

Goodluck
