They only need this if the person does not make enough income and is trying to use savings to prove the ability to support the immigrant.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

They r looking for if u an ur husband/wife as a joint account together...

The OP is filing for a K-1 visa / they are not husband and wife.

They ask for the bank statements when proving savings accounts and income in the bank account for using it as the proof of support.

thank you

Guys ,thanks for the responses.Meanwhile, does it mean that if the petitioner has enough income shown on tax transcripts and an employment letter, there is no need providing details of bank account right?

I am asking this because i am the petitioner of a K1 and i have enough income made ,which is shown on my tax trancripts and an employment letter from my employer, isn't that enough? showing account details is something uncomfortable to do.What about if one does not have a bank account?

We didn't use bank statements, I just used tax transcripts, employment letters, and last 3 months of pay checks for both my co-sponsor and my self.

Tax transcripts are essential for Ghana,

I hope that helps. Even for AOS I didn't use bank statements.

If you make enough income you do not need to include any bank information at all. Just the income from your job.
