There's plenty (and I mean plenty) of guides and things about the various steps you take after having the petition approved, you can get to them via the links in the top bar.

Having the petition approved is the part that (normally) takes the longest time - however for many, the interview itself is the most stressful. I've already been through 1 interview for a K1 visa, and it was really nothing to worry about as long a you follow the guides and have all the documentation to hand.

That being said, I'm sure India is different than the UK. Good luck!

Be prepared, organized, and you will do just fine. Bring extra evidence just to cover yourself you should be outstanding.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Approval for I130 is the first step for immigration visa.

Then, comes NVC that collects fees, documents and schedule interview...

For Indian citizen, there is one more step of VFS.... (medical and all supporting documents submission, I always believe more supporting documents are always better)

The final is Interview, nothing to worry about if you have no hidden red flags.... All the red flags can be addressed.

Good luck

No. Approval of I-130 is nothing like being granted a visa. If you read the USCIS notice of approval, it's emphatic that it is not a visa and cannot be used in place of such, and that you aren't approved of a visa yet. What it means is USCIS has approved your petitioner's request that you be allowed to apply for the immigrant visa.

Like others have said, it's up to the consul whether to issue you a visa or not.

By the way, it's your husband's interview, not yours, since he is the applicant. :) It's normal to worry about it though. Everybody worries about the interview!

Good luck!
