haven't received anything in the mail yet

Hi everybody,

first- I just want to thank everyone for their help and Apologize for the long post, but I have to ask..

We sent in our I-130 package early in June, just before 4th of July holiday, we received the whole package back, for some reason they didn’t like the money order we had sent in

So we mailed the package back with a check this time, the check was cashed July 25th

August 4th, few days later, we received an email that, the document that was mailed to us was returned by post office as undeliverable, so we called and they had the correct address on file, but we still haven't receive anything in the mail yet.

On September 21st, we got an email that our case was approved and approval notice was mailed, (ok so we are happy now, not really know what this means but looks positive)

Today, October 4th, we got another email that the document that was mailed, had been returned by post office as undeliverable, so we got on the phone and after being on hold for god knows how long, we were told that our call was being escalated to an immigration officer, since this was the second time calling in, we waited on hold again and the officer came online and said that address and everything was correct on the file and they had not sent anything? Then she hung up on us…..!!!!!

Does anyone have any idea or suggestions?

we called them back and were told that there was a mistake with the address and they had entered 3 insted of a 2 in the address and since we had called in about a month ago, some one else was working on it and it would take almost a month for the address to be updated???

anyways I just checked it looks like they have done something, since the last update date is on oct 7, now

I guess the good thing is that the I-130 has been approved, we were also told that we might have to send in I-824 plus $200

all they said is to send in the form and wait for 30 days and then call back if we haven't received anything by then, and that's it, nothing more

I work for an attorney and this has happened to us with one of our clients. That client called the post office and got the issue resolved. It had to do with the postal person/department and nothing to do with us. Also, make sure that they have the correct Apt # if you have one.

Hope you get your NOAs soon.

today I got a call from my wife that she received a letter for AOS bill and the choice of agent. this is the first thing we have got in the mail,

then I came home after work had a letter from nvc with a I-797 notice of action, and a letter with our nvc case number, to keep for my records

tommorrow will send the money and choice of agent
