No problem and I understand. We're almost prepared, I just took a test of my husband last night and he did good so not too worried. He applied based on 3-years marriage to me. So I need to print out bank statements and some pictures of us together and that should be all. Lately, I've heard they're asking some relationship related material/questions too so i am going to over-prepare. I am more worried that they'll ask some paper or more evidence of our relationship. But let's see..

No problem and I understand. We're almost prepared, I just took a test of my husband last night and he did good so not too worried. He applied based on 3-years marriage to me. So I need to print out bank statements and some pictures of us together and that should be all. Lately, I've heard they're asking some relationship related material/questions too so i am going to over-prepare. I am more worried that they'll ask some paper or more evidence of our relationship. But let's see..

as far as PASSPORT, what happens if you dont use the OVERNIGHT delivery method?!

I'd think it comes in normal mail... I remember filing a passport as first timer for my mom last year and we didn't pay any kind of expedite fee except the $140 for passport book and $25 for something else. I think her passport arrived in regular USPS envelope.

Oh okay...because it, travel.state.gov, strongly suggested to use overnight delivery. I asked mine to be expedited, hence my question

how long did it take for your mum to get her passport?

It did take a month when we applied last year and the site says it can take 4 to 6 weeks. Therefore, we plan to go with expedite for my husband. I am just in rush to finish things up as quick as possible (at this point, even if it cost more).
