I was denied VAWA last year Nov. 2011. I refiled in JAN 29th and got my PF in February after

RFE. And now this is what I see on the website when I check it. I hope it is not bad.

I did my I-485 biometrics on the 17 of February though. I am wondering if the two has any

connection at all.

On January 24, 2012, we received your response to our request for evidence. This

case is being processed at our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location. If you move

while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to

update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at

1-800-375-5283. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need

something from you. You should expect to receive a written decision or written

update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint

processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not

yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on

our website to estimate when this case will be done. If you move while this case

is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case

with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I received the exact same letter about my case. I have been waiting 30 days for a decision, so I have another 30 days to wait. Only mine was sent to the California office.

Hi Harry I was wondering what happend to you after the denial .Its good that you re-applied than appealing .It looks like you gathered much evidence this time since they gave you prima facie .That 60 days could be before or more depending on your case.In my own situation after sending RFE it took them 5 months to approve my case ,60 days went by without decision. Some take longer and some not each case is different.Wishing you all the best.
