Hi guys and girls

So it seems like my visa process is actually getting somewhere.

My fiancee flew back to the US last Monday, but whilst she was here we received our NOA2 and the next steps to process our visa.

I have sent back the necessary forms for package 3 (ds157, ds156, ds156k, and ds230 along with the american sized passport photos lol)

I have sent off for my Police Certificate.

I need to ring my doctor and get my vaccinations list.

An up to date letter of intent to marry for the interview, when I am ready.

And the only other thing I can think of is the affidavit of support, which is slightly confusing me.

My fiancee currently lives with her parents, and is on unemployment money, as she was a manager for a clothing store that was closed closed down. We realise we will need a co-sponsor for the affidavit of support, most likely her parents, but what proof and forms do I need to acquire for the interview ? I think out of all the paperwork I have sorted so far this is the most confusing and I don't want anything to ruin my chance of getting my visa on the interview date, as I'm sure most people don't.

And is there anything else I am missing? or that I should be doing, besides working a ####### tonne of hours as work to save for my move

Any help is very much appreciated

I'm a little rusty here, but for the interview, provided a co-sponsor is acceptable at this particular embassy, a form I-134 for both your petitioner and co-sponsor will be needed. Tax transcripts for both people should also be brought along as well. I always wanted to play it safe so I brought everything, bank statements for 6 months, paystubs for 6 months and this would be for both petitioner and co sponsor. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

Choose a parent to use, which would be the one with the most income and able to reach 125% of the poverty level or higher for their household size plus you. Your fiancee will still fill out her own I-134, and the co-sponsor fills out their own separate I-134 and they will need the same documents as required by any sponsor: tax transcript or complete copy of tax return + W-2s for the most recent tax year, letter from employer stating position and salary, a few months worth of the most recent pay stubs plus the co-sponsor needs to provide proof of being a USC or LPR. (copy of birth cert, naturalization, bio page from passport or front and back copy of green card)

You should come visit the UK board on here. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/m Lost of good info on the London Embassy process.

My fiances parents are co-sponsoring me. I have the I134 from my fiance and his Dad along with his Dads employemnt letter, 1040, W2's and bank statements. My fiances dad makes well over the poverty line so thats all I'll need. My fiance is unemployed and has been for 2 years so no W2s or 1040 for him. I do have his bank statements too just in case.

:)
