Find your local Social Security office and go with your spouse to file the application. You should have no problem getting it done. Just go now and go to the office early. K-1 visa holders can get a Social Security number pretty much from the day they get to the US. Make sure you do it before you get down to the last 14 days of your I-94 date of entry. If you don't go before then you will have to wait a long time until you get the EAD or green card. It's a major pain so do it now! You can even download the application on the SS website, fill it out, print it off and just go to the office with the papers already done. Wait in line and voila! You should get your SS card within 10 days I believe. Good luck!

Go to the nearest Social Security office with your passport and I-94. You can fill out and print the form here http://www.ssa.gov/online/ss-5.pdf

Goodluck
