Hi everyone,

Since I came to the US on an F-1 visa do I need to notify my school's international student office that I have filled for AOS?? I am working on my PhD so I don't really have much contact with the university (well except for my advisor ) as is...

Also I just got my biometrics app today.

March 27, 2006 - RFE sent out

March 31, 2006 - USCIS received the RFE

April 3, 2006 - I-485 touched

April 19, 2006 - AP approved

April 24, 2006 - AP received in the mail

April 22, 2006 - EAD touched

I don't know if you HAVE to, but I think it won't hurt to let them know. I know for sure you need to let them know your change of status once AOS is approved.

10/21/05 Mailed I-130, I-485, I-131, and I-765 to Chicago lockbox

10/24/05 Our packet delivered to USCIS

11/1/05 Checks cashed

11/2/05 Received NOAs (Notice date of 10/31/05)

11/7/05 Received I-485 fingerprint appointment for 11/23/05

11/16/05 I-130 touched

11/23/05 Biometrics done for AOS and EAD

11/29/05 I-485 & 765 touched

12/30/05 E-mail notice of AP & EADapproval - Yeey!

1/3/06 Received e-mail EAD "approval notice" mailed"

1/3/06 Received interview letter for 2/21/06 in Los Angeles (Notice date of 12/28/05)

1/5/06 Received AP in mail

1/6/06 Received EAD in mail

1/20/06 Applied to change name on Soc Sec card

2/6/06 Received new Soc Sec card in married name

2/21/06 Interview - AOS approved!

3/1/06 E-mail notice I-130 approved on 2/28/06; I-485 touched

3/6/06 Received Welcome Notice in mail (Notice date 2/28/06)
