Hi,

I am currently here in US and going to apply for E-3 VISA. Is it necessary that I have to go to Australia to apply for the VISA or can I go to Canada and apply over there as well?

It says on the website of US Consulate in Australia that the first time applicants should apply from AUSTRALIA. But is it necessary to go to AUS?

Thanks in advance.

You cannot apply for any visa to the USA in Canada unless you are a legal resident in Canada - providing proof of your valid visa that allows you to live there.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thank you for your reply Inky.

So can I go to Jamaica/London/Dublin or any other place which closer than AUS or is it safe to go to AUS?

Do you know if any of the VISAs ever been rejected on what basis do they actually get rejected?

Do we have to carry both the employer's offer letter and the client's offer letter or is the Employer's Offer Letter is sufficient?

Thanks a lot.

Thos questions I cant help with but hopefully someone else can, I only know about Canada because they will not interview anyone for a visa unless they are a resident.

It is spell out on the USCIS quite clearly on how/where you can apply: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=71256811264a3210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=71256811264a3210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD

To be interviewed in any other country other than your home country, you MUST be a resident.
