AOS address

I have been on a valid F1/OPT status since I graduated college in June 2011 in Killeen, TX. Immediately after graduation, I started my Full time job in New Braunfels, TX and was given relocation reimbursement/allowance (used to get an apt). In December 2011, I married now my wife (girlfriend of 4 years) who still lives and works in Killeen. After our marriage, we got a place together in Killeen while I still have this apt at New Braunfels just for work. At my job, I am able to make my own schedule and I’m required to only work 3 nights every week. I tend to fix my schedule in a way that I get 6-7 days off every month in 2 different occasions. Also, I schedule myself to work 3 days in a row. By doing this, I get to spend time in Killeen TX (my home) with my wife and pick up a PRN job. In addition, my wife and I would SOMETIMES (0-1 weekend every month) stay at the apt in New Braunfels, TX during the weekend that I have to work, as she works Monday through Friday.

I have Killeen TX as my home address in most of my documents except my water & electric bill (for apt in New Braunfels only) which is addressed to the apt in New Braunfels TX.

Distance from Killeen TX to New Braunfels TX is about 114 miles/2 hours and 5 minutes drive.

So my question is, will this be a problem when we apply for my AOS or is will this be a RED FLAG in our application? Which of these addresses will be recognized as my address by the USCIS? Btw, my lease at the New Braunfels apt expires in July 2012 and we're not planning to renew it.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You'll probably be asked about it but you have a good reason as well as a joint residence so I would not worry about it. It sounds like the address in Killeen is your primary residence whereas the apartment is more of a secondary work residence so that is the address I would use for everything.

Thanks for your response. So do you think we need to add a letter/note to our application explaining the address in New Braunfels or some kind of evidence to prove marriage?

I don't think you need to include a note about the other address, you can answer questions regarding it at the interview. If you are adjusting off a work/student/tourist/etc. visa and not a K-1, you do need to include evidence of a bonafide marriage with your packet that you send in. The instructions give you examples of what to include. You don't need to include everything but you do need to include something. (We sent my daughter's birth certificate and joint bank statements.)

I will be aos from F1 to LPR as my wife is a USC. Hope this is not a dumb or repeated question.

In the form I-130 and I-485, there are questions regarding addresses. Since my lease expires @ my secondary address in July `12, so how do I put that down in these forms? your previous comment says do not include extra sheet of explanation.

In addition, I dont have my wife's name on the secondary lease because I got d apt before we married. does this question our marriage/Co-mingingly?
