I saw on another message previously to call (202) 663-1225. To find out if you have and interview or not. I called this number and it said you can find the same information www.travel.state.gov Only I have went there and I dont see anything about it I thought I saw somewhere before that some countries have their interview list online. Is this true? If so where can you find it at? Thanks!!

I have not seen the feature at but a few embassies. I also know the interviews are scheduled for Morocco via the NVC here in the states. Our embassy does their own secheduling. Good luck.

Jennieh,

Your case was just completed on 1-13? Have you received a letter from the NVC (National Visa Processing Center) regarding them receiving your approved petition and that within one week they will forward it to Casablanca?

Even if you have received this letter from the NVC, it will take at least 6-8 weeks before you hear anything regarding an interview date. And, 'you' will not be notified...they will send your SO packet 3 with an invitation to an interview along with instructions on what documentation he needs to bring with him to the interview.

Be patient, it will happen...I promise. There is no number to call for an interview date for Casablanca but the main consulate number, and they do not give that information out...I went through this with our petition in Morocco and had to get my Senator involved due to the 10 weeks it took for my SO to receive packet 3. I would at least one month after the NVC forwards your petition to Morocco before emailing or trying to call the consulate.

Kiya Thanks but the I-130 petition was approved in early July. The NVC has had it since July I have just completed all their steps for the CR1 visa through them (about 2 1/2 weeks ago). The NVC told me that they will schedule the interview at the NVC. Im just woundering cause I saw some peoples cases for this same type of visas were sent quick and mine is still there.
