i got married in september 2010. i came to america a while ago. my marriage is in critical stage. my husbands is giving me a lot troubles and mentally torture.

i hv question regarding conditional resident i hv to present in june to remove condition once i will get permanent resident card green card and after it if i take divorce from my husband can my husband cancel green card ... and after divorce can i get nationality alone by myself..

please answer my question briefly

the reason why am thinking on this note is my life has been ruined ... am from pakistan if i go back with stain of divorce my life would be hell there its better for my left survival to stay here is usa.

plz answer me briefly or any move should i take

I am sorry for your hurt.

Gather all evidence you need to show you married in good faith and that you have a true marriage. Any joing accounts, health insurance, car insurance. Keep it at a P.O. Box so it is safe.

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

Your husband can NOT cancel your Green card.

If you get a divorce you can remove conditions without him.

Yes you can naturalize without him.
