Can't believe we are to this point.. exciting and nerve racking at the same time. Notice on the security section you can only bring plastic bag, only problem it will not all carry in a plastic bag any suggestions? On visajourney site many times it mentions fiance' needs to have all documents that were sent to the USCIS along with application papers needed for interview, so that is going to be alot to carry by hand without us of a bag.

If the security notice says you are only allowed a plastic bag then that is all you can bring.

Maybe try and find a really large plastic bag or use 2 plastic bags if you have to but you cant really go around the rules they use.

The reason people on VJ say to bring the original petition to the interview is in case they have lost something so you can just hand them the paper at the interview instead of waiting extra time to send them papers you didn't have at the interview time. Basically you do not have to bring anything extra other than what the interview checklist says - that is your choice to bring the extra papers if you want to be extra certain, it is not required to bring the original petition.

Thank you so much for the information. Perhaps will can take the most important papers that were part of the petition along with the interview checklist just to make sure. If they require extra information perhaps say they may have missplaced usually will they allow you to provide that at a later time?
