Filed I130 for my husband in August of last year.

How fast does the NVC process after I get NOA?

How fast does the embassy in Yemen appoint an interview?

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

Your in for a looong wait for the NOA2. :/

Once you get the NOA2 everything will go fast!

CSC is working on July fillers and hopefully will get to August sometime soon.

Why am I in for a long wait?

After you get your NOA2-which I seen another Yemen person still waiting after 10 months....

NVC will get your file in about 1-2 weeks and sometimes 1 month till you get your case numbers

Then, the rest is about how quick you are at paying the fees and sending in the paperwork and not gettting an RFE.

Some people stay at NVC 6 weeks and some stay at NVC 1 year.

So, if you have all the paperwork ready and signed and paid then you go thru it quickly like 3 weeks after you get the nvc numbers

I do not know how long yemen has been taking to schedule interviews. I just know it was slow due to the turmoil in yemen earlier. Hopefully they have sped up now

Good Luck

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS
