For those of you that have been given the blue slip, or their fiancee's are staying in Vietnam for a few months after her first set of Vaccinations, make sure your fiancee looks at the paper she received from IOM or the Hospital. My fiancee just noticed that if she didn't enter the US within 2 months of her first set of vaccinations, that she must get the second set by a specific date. She received the first set on Aug. 3rd, and she must get the second set on or before October 3rd. So keep this in mind!!!

Good info to pass on.

My fiancee was notified by the nurse when she received the first round of her vaccinations that if she didn't leave Vietnam before a specific date, than she should come back to the Health Quarantine Center on 40 Nguyen Van Troi to receive the second round of the series.

Just a hint for the vaccinations at the Health Quarantine Center, this place gets very busy if you arrive after they open. My fiancee arrived after they opened both times and was told that she would need to come back after lunch because they weren't accepting anymore people for the morning. She advises to arrive in the morning 30-40 minutes before they open, or during the lunch 30-45 minutes before they resume work. They key is to be at the door before they open!
