Can anyone give me any idea on how long it takes to receive information regarding your interview appointment after your file has been approved. My file was completed on August 29/06 and is to be sent to Montreal for the interview appointment. It has been over 30 days and I have not heard anything. Can you track your file from the NVC to the Montreal consultate and how?

Is it the I-130 petition that has been approved ?, or is it the NVC process that has been complete ?

If its the I-130 this will greatly depend on how fast you complete the NVC paperwork.

If you are talking about the NVC - Consulate process this will depend on the individual consulate, and best to post this in the Foriegn embassy forum to guage other peoples timelines...

also please can you complete your timeline..

Good luck on the rest of your journey !

In our case it took 20-25 days, but different consulates move at different speeds. Maybe try asking in the Canada regional board or checking the board's timelines.
