Hi everyone;

i am new at this so I am really sorry if there is a similar topic and I am just reposting. My question is this, my fiance and i do not speak english as our first language and so the majority of our skype conversation are in your native language. would i need to get them translate to in order to add them as supporting evidence or is it just ok to add them as it is?

thank you for responding

If you want to use your chat as evidence you must have it translated. Anything not in English will need translation if you are using it as evidence.

That is, IF you want to use them as evidence. We didn't include any actual communications because they are private, we used skype call records instead.

i am just putting the packet together (thanks this site helps a lot) but so far i have my airlplane ticket from my trip this december, a copy of my passport with the entry dates, pictures from the trip and a record of my calls to him.. i was not really sure if that will be enough that is why i was wondering about the conversations.

Holy s#!t -_____-

So even if the consulate speak the native language in which the emails and chat longs are, they have to be translated? Or is this referring to the evidence sent with the l-129F?

No you take more evidence the day of the interview, if you sens money to your fiance or postcards/greeting cards or if you guys have receipt of hotels reservations or receipts of places you both went together would serve as more supporting evidence.

I have tons of emails so i'm using it as evidence for the interview since they are not in english.
