unfortunately the only way you can appy for a EAD on a K3 visa is with AOS..

you have to file your AOS paperwork with your EAD and send all to the chicago lockbox.

K3 is C9 category

fees will be 180 plus the biometric fee of around 90..

check the uscis site for current fees of both.

good luck

kim&james - of course you can appy for EAD alone.

The fee is $180. No need to pay the biometric fee yet. You will pay that when you apply for AOS. The category is a9 and you need to send it to Chicago lockbox.

I am waiting for my EAD approval now :)

Goodluck

timesnap,

The form introduction pages in the USCIS web site will be more current than the forms themselves, since the forms are re-printed only periodically but the website is updated as needed.
