would it be closer to go to Calgary? You don't use your provincial medical card so going to another province is o.k.

yeah, if Calgary is closer you should go there

depends on the doctor.

I was able to book my appointment about 3 weeks before I got my NOA2 -- I was afraid that he may have long waiting times, so I wanted to make sure I had one well in advance. By the time my appointment rolled around, I had a copy of my notice with my case number from NVC, but he didn't care. However, I know that Dr. Seiden in toronto needs to see your Package 3 letter. Just call and ask -- their receptionists are used to dealing with immigration medicals and will let you know what you need to bring with you. :)

You'll definitely need your new case number at the least, when you go to the appointment, but as Cassie mentioned, it depends a lot on the doctor. Calling the office is a great idea. They'll tell you what you need, and they can give you an idea of how far in advance they're scheduling appointments. Dr. Chao in Saskatoon only schedules one immigration appointment per day, for instance, so he's scheduling about four weeks out. My fiance procrastinated a bit with scheduling the appointment (which he had a couple of days ago), and now we're cutting it a bit close for getting his test results back in time for our interview date. The nurse did say the office could fax any information to the Vancouver consulate if they didn't get back in time. So there might be a short delay, but nothing catastrophic.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

I was asked to present a letter with a case number at the doctor's office. They need it to put it on the forms they fill But it can't hurt to try asking them if it is o.k. to have medical now and send them a case number once you now it.

Good luck
