Hello everyone,

I was immigrated to the US one year ago, i have my green card, i wanna bring my mom and my sister (From Egypt ) to visit me here for a month.

so they will applay for a tourism visa right? its the same as visiting visa?

so whats the paper work they will need? and its easy for them to get the visa or what ?

anyone did it before ? can u tell me ur story plz ?

Consider reviewing the US Visitor Visa Guide . It seems the prevailing concern of the visa officials is that the visitors have a compelling reason to go back home, and that they are just visiting and NOT immigrating.

There will likely be other responses.

Consider reviewing the US Visitor Visa Guide . It seems the prevailing concern of the visa officials is that the visitors have a compelling reason to go back home, and that they are just visiting and NOT immigrating.

There will likely be other responses.

Please visit the US embassy in cairo website http://egypt.usembassy.gov/ and click on visas- non immigrant visas. You will find all the information regarding visitor/ tourist visas. Have them look for the paperwork there and get an appointment and pay the fee. It's not easy to get it, yet not impossible. They will need to prove strong ties to Egypt as proof they won't stay in the US.

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.
