Hi, I'm trying to get an understanding of how the process work for AOS. I've been reading the step by step guides but still a bit confused, so if someone can help me that would be so great.

First I would need to fill out the Form I-485 and do I need to do the biometrics or Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status before I fill out the form so I could send them the result or do they send me a package later on ??

Thanks in advance!!!

Your CR-1 conditional green card will expire in 2 years. So 90 days before your conditional green card expires you will need to file for Removal of Conditions (I-751). But you have a long time before then.

If you've been married less than 3 years you will get a 2-year conditional green card when you enter the United States. No more than 90 days before your green card expires, you will need to file for removal of conditions. This is the I-751, so those are the directions you'll want to read. You will need to do biometrics at that point (they will send you a notice with an appointment date once you file) but you don't need to do another medical or anything like that.

Take a look at the instructions for the I-751 to get a better idea of what you'll be looking at in a couple of years.
