Hospital medical cost for package 3

Has anyone used Bumrungrad Hospital recently and know the cost of the medical for package 3? I have some info from the Embassy but I think it's old/not accurate. My fiancé is familiar with that hospital so she will probably go there. I'd like to make it as easy as possible for her. She did get some of the vaccines in advance in her home town. If you went to another hospital which one and what was the price there?

Thanks

Pui used BNH back in April of 2011. Just for the medical for the Dr to look at her it was 2010 baht. The rest of our charges were the vaccines that she had to get. Bumrungrad should charge around the 2000 baht level for the medical portion of the bill. If you have the vaccinations from her home town already bring a copy with her to Bumrungrad so you do not have to take them all over again and be charged for them. Be sure to keep all copies from all the vaccinations from her home town and Bumrungrad so when you do AOS back here she has copies and also keep them for when you settle down with your normal Dr here. Good luck.

I had my medical last January 2nd this year at Bumrungrad, and I paid around 5,000 Baht. Perhaps the New Year has just kicked off so not a lot of people going in for their medical, so I finished it for 4 hours only.

That is not that bad. We paid 12K for ours 3 years ago at BNH. The majority was vaccines, the big kicker was the HPV that was required at the time for woman under 25.

Our son just got vaccinated here in Chiang Mai, and we paid 6K baht for 4 vaccines. The vaccinations are expensive, if you don't need any it will be cheaper.

If you are talking about 2000 from my post it was 2000 for the dr medical part. For the vaccinations it was another 3000+ so the total bill was over 5000. If you can show proof of having the vaccinations is what will save you or if you can get the vaccinations before the medical and bring proof that you had them done.

We did the medical and the vaccinations because Pui did not have a copy of her previous vaccinations. The medical was 2000 and the vaccinations were another 3000+. So a total of 5000+. The medical only covers the visit to see the dr, the blood work, and the xray. If you can show proof of pervious vaccinations that should help with some of the cost.
