Interview In Detroit, MI

Hello Friends:

I had an interview yesteday in Detroit. My appointment was for 1.30 PM but we arrived early hoping that we might be called in early if they have any open slots.

We were called in around 2.00 PM. An African-American USCIS officer lady in her late 40s escorted us to her cubicle. We took the oath and sat on the chairs in front of her table. Looking at my bad she strightforward asked us to produce the documents to prove our joint living. She asked, why we decided to get married in Maui. HI. She asked my wife whats the difference between a Hindu and Buddhist wedding. She went throught all the question in AOS forms about terriorism and so on. Later she asked for my wife's latest paystubs from her work and thats it.

She told us that everything is good but as FBI namecheck is not completed, so it may take a while before AOS will be approved. I know what she meant as so many other members on this forum are going through this process.
