Well, I'm getting pretty antsy here waiting for my NOA2 after receiving an RFE December 8th and I wasn't able to send the documents in until January 13th. it's been 6 days since my RFE has been recieved. Now I know after you receive the RFE response review status it says it Is a 60 day wait.

My question to you all is, how long did your RFE take to get to the decision?

I've seen 5 days and I've seen 30 days.

Forgive me if this is in the wrong section!

it's really hard not to worry.

I know! My biggest fear is getting another RFE. I'm cutting it tight as is, considering I want my fiancée back before prom on April 22nd! The wait is killing my nerves!

Sorry - I can't resist...

"NOA2" does not mean approval notice, it means second notice. Your RFE was your "NOA2". Your approval notice will be your "NOA3" or third notice.

Just another example of why the terms "NOA1" or "NOA2" should not be used and "Receipt Notice", "Approval Notice" or "RFE" should instead be used.

Hope your Approval Notice comes soon.

Yes, I figured I'd gotten something wrong in my terms, I try my bestblush.gif. The terms are still confusing for me to get used to, but I think I'll juss call it my approval notice from now on! biggrin.gif

Its just a pet peeve of mine. Don't worry - 99% of VJ members think NOA2 means approval notice.

Baha, yeah I'm a little slow when it comes to catching up with all these terms. Thanks for that though, I didn't know that and hey! Now I do smile.gif
