So my husband was brought over here when he was 6 by his mother..but left the united states before turning 18 1/2. has anyone had a similar case like this..how do you prove to them( them being who) uscis or interview officer? that you did leave before turning 18 1/2..can you show them a plane ticket or how does that work? thanks for your time and answers =)

Plane ticket is good. Also proof that he started residing in his home country at a certain date (college transcripts, bills, lease etc).

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Wow! It looks like we're in the same boat. Except I havn't married yet, but my fiancee was also brought here when he was 6 and also sent out when he was 18 1/2, giving him the perfect amount of time to graduate high school. My fiancee is living with his grandparents right now. Our evidence, as our lawyer told us, was sent to include plane tickets, passport stamps: Citing the specific date and where and proof that he's crossed the border and just reciepts from stores he's went to in mexico. As well as letters i've sent to him with his name and address of the place he's at in mexico. That's really all you need and more than enough.
