hi,

my husband is a disabled Army Veteran and he doesn't work. he gets a VA compensation and a SS disability, which is more then enough to cover the poverty requirements. I don't know about the social security disability for sure yet, but as for the VA payments, it's non-taxable. Now, i've been reading online to see if there was a way to have some kind of proof of that and stumbled upon something that said that VA disability benefit is not even considered as an income. how do i go about that as far as the i-864 is concerned? do i still count that as the total household income?

i'm so confused, i can't find his W2 form for the year of 2010 either and now i don't even know if i need one or if he even had one. please help, hopefully someone filed the affidavit of support the same way. thank you!
