ds260 help???what am i doing wrong???

thank you for stopping by and helping me on this one we are abt ready to do our ds260 on line..its asking for invoice id number...i looked at all my paperwork not to be found...i called nvc they told me its my fiances date of birth year month and date...i tried it again i still cant log in...i called back to nvc the lady told me maybe to pay mrv first and with that invoice number to try to login...i would love to pay the fee but u have to fill out ds260 first..all the sites and info lead me back to the same page that ask me for my case number and invoice identification number..can anybody out there help me please!!!!!

this site is awesome...being stressed out all about this process..i went thru v.j archives i found a phone number 1-603-334-0700 and finally found an agent that knew exactly what i was looking for and also gave me a beneficiary id number as well that she said is also needed to complete ds260..for those of you that call u will need your case number,petioners date of birth fiances date of birth pen and paper handy this lady knew her stuff and was throwing these numbers out like a lottery machine thank you for all your help and great big thanks for all those who have been there and done that and posted info...and espeacially visa journey

Yeah, I remember reading that you have to call for the bene ID number but also that if you didn't have that, the birth date should work.
