Hi,

If you become US Citizen by Naturalization, then I-130 need a certificate number in Question#13 of I-130,

Certificate of Naturalization has two numbers printed on it:

(1) CIS Registration No, which is an 'A' number.

(2) Just a serial number.

which number should go in Question#13?

also Question#10 pf I-130, asked for "Alien Registration Number", is it the same as printed an 'A' number on Certificate of Naturalization?

and is it the same number asked on G-325A when asked to enter "File Number A#"?

Please help. Thanks a lot.

A number is the number assigned to permanent resident (Green Card holders) while the number on the certificate of naturalization is the number assigned to you once you become a United States citizens via naturalization. They are two different numbers. When you become a United States Citizen through naturalization, the A number is no longer valid.
