Hi everyone,

I am not sure if I am posting in the right place, but if I am wrong please do direct me.

Well, I am currently awaiting for the NOA2, I do realize it will be a few months from now, so in the meantime, I want to communicate with other members to help ease the wait. I'm the USC and my fiance is in Guatemala. From my NOA1, I know my case was forwarded to the California Service Center. If anyone has anecdotes to share, feel free... :star:

I'm looking forward to interact on VisaJourney. Thank you for reading! B-)

Welcome to VJ. You'll find a wealth of information here as well as folks that have experienced all you are going through. Use the resources here on VJ and start getting prepared for the next step. 5 months of waiting for the NOA-2 seems like a lifetime, but it's over before you realize it and then you have some real work to do in order to get ready for the interview.

Start gathering the necessary documents NOW and ask any questions you might have.

Welcome and best of luck!

Welcome, read lots of postings, the VJ guides and forms. Start gathering your evidence you will need. Both of you read and do this together it will make it more fun. It will be about 6-7 months from start to finish, and hopefully no problems.

WELCOME!!!

Prepare to become an expert at doing research and listen to the experience of those who have had experiences similar to your situation.

az is absolutely right about setting your expectations on the timeline for 5m and get cooking on putting everything together now.

We checked our package no less than 20 times.. Toootally OCD on that.. It helped because we did not have a single problem. And we had concerns about several items going in.

We received our NOA2 after 93 days however... Albeit it was Vermont.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best. be excited!! This is great stuff!

Best!

Hola! I hope you receive your NOA2 soon! I am already becoming obsessed with checking my status update, but I know I am being very silly. I still have a few months to go! When do you anticipate your NOA2 to arrive?
